Game Preview: Lowly Pistons Face Lowly Magic
The Detroit Pistons(34-38) face the Orlando Magic(26-46) tonight in Orlando. The game begins at 7:00 p.m.
The Magic lost a close game to the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, 109-102. Terrence Ross lead Orlando in scoring with 18 points. Elfrid Payton and Evan Fournier each added 15 points. Former Piston, Jodie Meeks, scored 10 points in 15 minutes off the bench. Losing seven of their last ten games, the Magic are 14th in the Eastern Conference.
The Pistons have now lost two straight games they needed to win. After an embarrassing loss to the worst team in the NBA, the Brooklyn Nets, Detroit found a way to lose to the Chicago Bulls. Marcus Morris and Tobias Harris each scored 14 points off the bench. Jon Leuer and Stanley Johnson scored 13 and 12 points, respectively off the bench. Nikola Mirotic scored a career high 28 points for the Bulls.
