Game Preview: Failing Pistons Face Surging Celtics
The Detroit Pistons(21-26) head to Boston tonight as they face the Celtics(29-18) at 8 pm EST. The game will be nationally televised on TNT.
The Celtics have won three straight games. They took down the Milwaukee Bucks in overtime in their last game. MVP candidate Isaiah Thomas scored 37 points and added eight assists in the big win. Small forward, Jae Crowder, finished with 20 points and six rebounds. The Celtics trailed by 16 points in the second half but were able to fight their way back into the game and eventually win.
The Pistons continue to be a streaky and failing team. After going on a three-game winning streak, Detroit has dropped their last two games to the Sacramento Kings and Miami Heat. Reggie Jackson finished with 24 points and seven assists. Andre Drummond had a double-double, going for 17 points and 20 rebounds. Detroit was outscored 26-12 in the 4th quarter versus the Heat.
