Detroit Goes Cold as Cleveland Takes Game Two
The Pistons played well in the first half on Wednesday night, trailing only by two at half, 55-53.
Once the second half began, Detroit opened up on a 7-0 run, making the score 60-55 early in the third quarter. After that, it was a downhill spiral for the Pistons.
The offense could never get back to the flow it was at before Cleveland called a timeout after Detroit's 7-0 run.
The Cavaliers on the other hand, heated up, and never cooled off. Cleveland shot well the entire game.
The Cavaliers defeated the Pistons 107-90.
LeBron James finished with 27 points and 6 rebounds, while playing 39 minutes in the game. Kyrie Irving notched 20 points and 4 assists. J.R. Smith shot 7 of 11 from the three-point line, and scored 21 points. Kevin Love had a double-double, with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
The Cavaliers shot historically well from the three-point line. They tied the record for the most three-point makes with 20 made. They shot 20-38, 52.6%.
For Detroit, Andre Drummond finished with 20 points and only 7 rebounds. Reggie Jackson scored 14 points and dished out 6 assist. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had 13 points and 8 rebounds.
Marcus Morris and Tobias Harris combined for 5-21 shooting, combining for 24 points.
Game 3 is Friday in Detroit at 7P.M. The game will be televised nationally on TNT.
