Derrick Rose Fined $25,000 for Throwing Pen Into Stands

In a season where Andre Drummond has been already been sidelined due to an allergic reaction from an avocado, it just keeps getting weirder for the Detroit Pistons.

Derrick Rose has been fined $25,000 for throwing a pen into the stands of Little Caesar's Arena in Monday's loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, the NBA announced.

The incident occurred with 37.0 seconds remaining in overtime of the contest, when the Pelicans had already clinched the win.

Rose finished the game with a team-high 22 points, along with eight assists, in a season-high 36 minutes.
