BREAKING: Kelly Olynyk Out At Least Six Weeks
The Detroit Pistons announced today that big man Kelly Olynyk will be out at least six weeks with a Grade 2 MCL Sprain.
Olynyk suffered the injury during the fourth quarter of the Pistons 112-104 victory over the Houston Rockets Wednesday night, a game where Olynyk had 13 points, six rebounds, and two steals in 25 minutes.
The nine-year NBA veteran signed a three-year, $37 million contract this offseason with Detroit.
Olynyk had played in all 10 of the Pistons' games so far this season, averaging 12.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 23 minutes a game.
