Anthony Tolliver: "I Wish Things Could've Worked Out"

After spending a season and a half with the Detroit Pistons, Anthony Tolliver signed with the Sacramento Kings in free agency. Tolliver quickly became a fan favorite in Detroit. Tolliver instantly generated the nickname of the "Tolliver Effect." When on the court everyone knew who was working the hardest out there, Anthony Tolliver.

This morning Tolliver posted a thank you message to Pistons fans on his Instagram.

In his post, Tolliver reveals that he wanted to remain in Detroit, but a deal never happened.

I wish things could've worked out for me to come back but it's a business first and everything happens for a reason.

Instead of bringing back Tolliver, Stan Van Gundy and the Pistons front office drafted Henry Ellenson and signed Jon Leuer.

The Tolliver Effect has left Detroit.
